INSULARIA-ISLAS EN RED is an international film festival dedicated to island cinematography of the world, showing the cultural diversity of island territories through cinema.

This event is unique in its theme, along with the one held in Groix, France, being the first film festival in Spanish that programs exclusively island cinema. Its multidisciplinary approach seeks to consolidate itself as an INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF THE ISLANDS OF THE WORLD, bringing together creators and exhibiting island cultures in cinema, plastic arts, music and literature.

Territories such as Iceland, Great Britain, Scandinavian Islands, New Zealand, Ireland, Balearic Islands, Azores, Sardinia, Madeira, Taiwan, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Sri Lanka have participated in previous editions of the festival.

Insularia, Islas en Red wants to be an increasingly sustainable festival. With this objective, it is implementing sustainability measures and measuring the carbon footprint.
