On a rural farm in Northern Ireland, brothers Turlough and Lorcan meet again after their mother’s untimely death. However, their painful reunion takes an unexpected turn when they find a wish list written by their mother before she died. Lorcan will only agree to leave the farm when he and Turlough have fulfilled each and every one of the hundred wishes on their mother’s list.

Tom Berkeley & Ross White
An Irish Goodbye is the second collaboration between writing and directing duo Tom Berkeley and Ross White following their debut ROY, which was nominated for Best British Short Film at the 75th BAFTA Awards. Hailing from Gloucester and Belfast respectively, their journey began with writing for the stage, with their early works recognised as finalists in the Bruntwood Prize, the Papatango Prize and the Kenneth Branagh Award for New Drama Writing. Turning their focus to co-writing and directing for the screen, the pair founded Belfast-based Floodlight Pictures in 2019 as a vehicle through which to produce their work. They were recently selected for the BBC Writersroom ‘Belfast Voices’ 2022 cohort.
