In 1959 the stores La Época, El Encanto and Fin de Siglo were the most popular in the Cuban capital. Almost 40 years later these names prompt questions, reflections, melancholy. Cremata’s work is one of the essential pieces for the renewal of Cuban nonfiction. It was one of the most influential shorts of its time for young Cuban filmmakers.
